Zevar – 1942

“Zevar” – 1942, a Social Story, starring Jayant, Indurani and E.Billimoria was a big hit especially in Delhi where it was first released in September 1942.

Indurani acted in 5 of the movies that K. Amarnath directed for Mohan Pictures. Twenty-two years later – in 1964, her niece, Azra acted in a supporting role in “Ishaara” under his own banner, “K. Amarnath Productions”. 

Jayant acted in 10 of my dad’s movies, including a guest appearance in Laila Majnu. Five of the movies Jayant acted in were under my dad’s own banner – “K.Amarnath Productions”.
